That muted idea that gives us the right to think we are in charge of our lives .. allowed ot hold our opinions and live in Democratic states that abide by their consitutions..

Do remember please this is a former speaker of the house.. all I can say if this is the standard of Senior politicians then what blunders are the ones of lesser power upto

Whale season is open

According to Bluevoice.org .. Japan has called open season on Whales both within their own waters and in others..

From humpbacks to many different breeds of dolphin..

At the most recent meeting of the International Whaling Commission at St. Kitts Japan made a concerted effort to overturn the worldwide ban on whaling that has been in place nearly twenty years. The also reiterated their plans to hunt humpback whales. Read More here

Now I am amazed in what I read in that Irelands Govt actually signed up against this .. considering they have freely signed away cod stocks and other fish stocks around the irish coasts not to mention have invited in known polutant companies to forrage off the irish coast with no benefit to the Irish people or apparently Govt.. and no consideration to the Local people living in the path of their exploits.. but that is another story altogether…

For those that have used Google Earth you will know the pleasures of browsing far off places on our planet .. now I have discovered World Wind from Nasa and am bowled over

not alone can you browse Planet Earth but also Mars Jupiter and many more ..

there are links to places of interest and other interesting facts .. and discoveries ..

certainly worth the download but dont do so if you have a sub 1mb connection to the net..

nice tribute this, some memorys .. windows 98 launch, there are similiar vids for 2000 and xp floating around but

from the days of msdos then windows , 3, and 95 microsoft have been there redefining the home market as well as the business market for pcs .. and fair play to them ..

granted I am a fan of linux, beos, and other OS but primarily I work with Microsoft products ..
