Long before Eddie hobbs started with his shows we were all well aware of rip off ireland and the effects our politicians were having on our pockets
The Great thing about Ireland is that what ever party is elected in to government they will dictate to the people .. take for example The Nice Treaty as an electorate we did not go for it so our Govt decided they would give us a second chance .. having gone through the Divorce and abortion referendums over and over again it is only natural a Govt like the Irish one would use public funding to get it’s desired result (not always guaranteed as in the abortion debate )
so all I can add is Thumbs up for Democracy .. long lost in the land of saints and scholars
